About Level X Apparel

✨ Meet the person behind Level X Apparel ✨

Hi, I’m Samantha. 🀍

The person behind the designs, the rhinestones, the late-night ideas, the tiny details, the website updates, the packaging, the second-guessing, the changing-my-mind-again moments, and probably way too much caffeine! β˜•βœ¨

Level X started because I wanted a place to bring my love for rhinestones, intricate designs, and cheer to life.

Most of the work behind Level X is done by me, but I do have one very important, yet opinionated assistant: my daughter.

She helps me choose colors, placements, styles, and lets me know what athletes actually want to wear.

Sometimes she loves my ideas. 😍

And sometimes she humbles me. πŸ˜‚

My daughter is the one who really pulled me into the cheer world. She started cheering when she was little - just to give it a try, and somewhere along the way, cheer became a huge part of our lives. I have watched her courage, drive and dedication to this sport, and soaked it all in.Β  I fell in love with the sport, the confidence it builds, the teamwork, the dedication, the excitement, and of course...the sparkle πŸ’Ž

I started creating pieces for friends and family years ago, and eventually I realized I wanted to do more with it.

Not because I thought cheer needed another practice wear brand to compete with everyone else.

Actually, quite the opposite.

There are so many incredibly talented people and businesses, both big and small, in this industry, and I think there is room for all of us.

Cheer itself is built around people supporting one another. Athletes literally rely on their teammates to lift them, catch them, encourage them, and help them succeed.

I think business can have a little more of that energy, too.

More brands mean more ideas.Β More creativity.Β More styles.Β More choices for athletes.

And I think that is a good thing.

My goal with Level X has never been to be the only option. I just want to be one of the options athletes are excited to choose. 🀍

I want to create pieces that feel different, special, comfortable, bold, and unapologetically sparkly.

My design style is definitely luxe-comfort with ALL the sparkle. I am extremely detail-oriented and admittedly a bit of a perfectionist. What looks like a simple rhinestone design can take hours of tweaking, changing colors, adjusting spacing, reworking samples, and convincing myself that yes, one tiny detail really does matter. πŸ˜‚

At the center of all of it, though, is one thing:

I want athletes to feel confident.

Cheerleaders already do incredible things. They work hard, trust their teammates, push through difficult skills, perform under pressure, and continue getting back up when something doesn’t go right.

The outfit doesn’t create that confidence.

But I definitely believe a little sparkle can amplify it. ✨

Outside of Level X, I’m a mom of three, two boys and one girl, a military spouse of 18 years, and I get to call the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast home. I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in Marketing this spring, while somehow always finding room in my brain for another design idea.

Starting Level X has also reminded me how powerful encouragement can be.

Some of the moments that have meant the most to me have been incredibly simple.

β€œI saw your store!”

β€œYour designs are beautiful.”

β€œI’m proud of you.”

β€œKeep going.”

Those words matter.

Supporting a small business doesn’t always mean buying something.

Sometimes it is sharing a post.

Leaving a comment.

Telling a friend.

Encouraging someone who is trying something new.

Celebrating another person’s win.

I will always believe there is enough room for people to create, dream, grow, and succeed in whatever path they choose.

That is the kind of cheer community I want to be part of.

And that is the kind of business I want Level X to be.

Bold designs.

Beautiful sparkle.

Confident athletes.

And a whole lot of heart behind it. 🀍✨

Thank you for being here and supporting this dream of mine.

We’re just getting started.
